Install OpenLiteSpeed + PHP 7.4 + MariaDB 10.4 pada CentOS 7

Mungkin saya sudah banyak ketinggalan dari yang lain mengenai OpenLiteSpeed ini karena baru beberapa hari belakangan icip-icip nyobain OpenLiteSpeed dan ternyata hasilnya cukup memuaskan, halaman website sepertinya menjadi lebih cepat terbuka dan responsip

Sedikit mengulas, OpenLiteSpeed Web Server ini merupakan versi opensource dari LiteSpeed yang katanya kalau kita pakai wordpres kecepatannya 10x lebih keren dari nginX dan 84x lebih mantap daripada Apache katanya…, apa emang bener ? saya lampirkan saja gambar grafik perbandingannya ya dari website mereka, kalau ga percaya cobain saja sendiri ya. nanti cara installnya bisa googling atau dibawah juga saya lampirkan cara install OpenLiteSpeed-nya

Langsung saja, saya coba berbagi cara instalasi openlitespeed pada Centos 7, kalau anda mau pakai ubuntu juga bisa karena langkah instalasi openlitespeed pada ubuntu tidak jauh berbeda dengan instalasi openlitespeed pada centos.

Rsync with non-standard SSH Port

Just run the following command from the terminal ssh if you want to sync files/folders using Rsync with non-standard ssh port.

1	# rsync -arvz -e 'ssh -p <port-number>' --progress --delete user@remote-server:/path/to/remote/folder /path/to/local/folder

Openvz / CentOS 7 – Error: no device found for connection ‘System venet0’

If you are getting errors like

[root@us network-scripts]# ifup venet0

On a centos7 and openvz machine, stop network manager.

[root@us network-scripts]# service NetworkManager stop

Redirecting to /bin/systemctl stop NetworkManager.service

[root@us network-scripts]# chkconfig NetworkManager off

Note: Forwarding request to 'systemctl disable NetworkManager.service'.

rm '/etc/systemd/system/dbus-org.freedesktop.nm-dispatcher.service'

Debian : Fix Error “There is no public key available for the following key IDs”

If you get an error message when running command apt-get update in Debian like this : There is no public key available for the following key IDs… you can fix this error with running the following command :

1 2	server@asep:~$ sudo apt-get install debian-keyring debian-archive-keyring server@asep:~$ sudo apt-get update

Backup Mysql with Bash Script

Here is how to perform backups on the mysql database by using a bash script:

First step just create a file backup.sh

1	vi backup.sh

and copy the following scripts into backup.sh file

# Database credentials

user="databse user"

password="database password"

host="localhost"

db_name="database name"

# Backup location

backup_path="/home/backup-db"

date=$(date +"%d-%b-%Y")

# Set default file permissions

umask 177

# Dump database into SQL file

mysqldump --user=$user --password=$password --host=$host $db_name > $backup_path/$db_name-$date.sql

# Delete files older than 30 days

find $backup_path/* -mtime +30 -exec rm {} \;

Now you just need to make it executable:

1	chmod 700 backup.sh

And then add it to the crontab so it’ll run automagically:

1	crontab -e

1	0 1 * * * /path/to/backup.sh

In this case it’ll run every day at 1 AM.

Debian 7 : Indonesia (Kambing.UI.ac.id) Dotdeb Repository

Here is Indonesia (kambing.UI.ac.id) Repository for Dotdeb

Step 1. Add the main repository to your sources.list

Depending on your distribution (Wheezy or Squeeze), add these two lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list file (you can also choose a mirror near you) :

1 2	deb http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ wheezy all deb-src http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ wheezy all

or

1 2	deb http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ squeeze all deb-src http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ squeeze all

Step 2. Choose your PHP version options

If you want to install :

PHP 5.6 on Debian 7 “Wheezy” (without Zend thread safety), add these two lines too :

1 2	deb http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ wheezy-php56 all deb-src http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ wheezy-php56 all

PHP 5.6 on Debian 7 “Wheezy” (with Zend thread safety), add these two lines instead :

1 2	deb http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ wheezy-php56-zts all deb-src http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ wheezy-php56-zts all

PHP 5.5 on Debian 7 “Wheezy”, add these two lines too :

1 2	deb http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ wheezy-php55 all deb-src http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ wheezy-php55 all

PHP 5.4 on Debian 6 “Squeeze”, add these two lines too :

1 2	deb http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ squeeze-php54 all deb-src http://kambing.ui.ac.id/dotdeb/ squeeze-php54 all

Step 3. Fetch and install the GnuPG key

1 2	wget http://www.dotdeb.org/dotdeb.gpg sudo apt-key add dotdeb.gpg

Step 4. Enjoy
Run apt-get update. You should now be able to install the Dotdeb packages you want with apt-get (or dselect, or aptitude as well…)
